CINORG, Tamale, Ghana

About Us

Children In Need Organization (CINORG) is a non - governmental, non - profit, non - religious and non - political organization founded by Mr. Abdulai Taajudeen (Ghana) and Ms. Martina Jarolínová (Slovakia) to give a helping hand to the needy. These people realised the plight in which orphans as well as street children are going through in the side of the world, which prompted them to come out with an organization that will solicit funds to support the under-privileged by providing them food, shelter, health and also to educate them.

CINORG provides the orphanage in Tamale, the city in Northern Region of Ghana. The employees and volunteers of the orphanage look after 50 children in age of several months up to 15 years and also street children.

History of CINORG

Children In Need Organization was organized in 2006 to provide shelter, food, good health and better education to orphaned, abandoned and street children, to improve the quality of lives of the under-privileged children. We are non - profit organization who aimed at providing a good enabling environment for the unfortunate ones whom we have considered needy.

Abdulai Taajudeen and Martina Jarolínová are the founders of the Children In Need Organization which is also known as CINORG. These people have the same feelings for the less privileged ones and therefore decided to offer support by establishing this organization to solicit for funds, grants and donation to assist our unfortunate brothers and sisters who are in dying need.

Apart from donating or rendering voluntary help in the orphanage, we consider street children to also be an issue to deal with. These street children gallivant on the streets, sleep outside and finally result into social vices like stealing, smoking and teenage pregnancy. CINORG is therefore formed to help the street children by sending them to school and also to curb the sprout of street children in the community.

VISION of CINORG

For the past few years CINORG has been working in Tamale, Northen Ghana to give orphans, children of the rural indigenous, the vulnerable and the poor a fair chance in life. Our aim is to find and work closely with local orphans and deprived people within all the Regions in Ghana who have the passion, commitment and drive to create positive change. We are mobilising resources to help improve the education and literacy, in fact the very future, of the underprivileged children and communities.
